When the photographer is not looking (at you)…

I took these photographs earlier this year while on site at a client’s newly finished home. I was there to gather a few shots of the architectural detail and full gut-renovation that our office designed and managed. Well, who could resist some of these fun shots?

I shall call him, “The Protector,” and he shall be my protector.

Something is missing here…

Dreamy bathroom, but I some how managed to make this bathtub look a little sink-i-esque. No?

I just like the untold story here.

In other news! I got my new Nikon/Nikkor 24mm prime lense yesterday. Yay! (Rah.) It shoots some pretty fun, and in my humble opinion –IMHO, does anyone else read this as, “I’m a ho” ? Anyone? — it creates a rather dynamic looking shot. Especially close up. It’s a great lens for taking some interesting self-portraits and also the let’s-take-our-own-picture! shots. The shots where you take the picture with one hand and grab your significant person of the day with your other hand. You will both fit in the photo! At least Chester and I did last night using my Nikon D700. I’m excited to see what else this lens will do, though, thankfully, my D700 goes a long way in camera control. I just love it.
